Maskan Mehr

Construction Superintendent from 2010 to 2013 in Shiraz, Iran

During my tenure at Masken Mehr, I played a pivotal role in a national initiative aimed at constructing affordable housing units for low-income families. I was responsible for overseeing the construction of 950 apartment units, which were part of a broader project involving multiple construction firms.

Responsibilities —

  • Managed and supervised the construction of multiple residential blocks, ensuring all buildings adhered to strict quality and safety standards.
  • Coordinated between six major construction companies, facilitating seamless collaboration and efficiency across the project.
  • Implemented innovative management strategies to optimize manpower and resources, significantly reducing waste and increasing productivity on site.
  • Conducted rigorous technical inspections and oversight to ensure all construction activities met project specifications and legal compliance.

Achievements

  • Successfully navigated the challenges of a large-scale, high-stakes project by providing effective leadership and innovative problem-solving.
  • Played a key role in the national effort to provide housing for thousands of low-income individuals, directly contributing to the project’s goal of creating 2 million housing units.
  • Developed and refined a model for efficient construction management under pressure, which informed later projects and highlighted my capability to manage complex construction initiatives.
