CONTEXT

Yaama Tech has been in operation since 2020 and embarked on a mission to revolutionize tech recruitment by providing superior hiring solutions and enhancing employee retention. As the General Manager and HR Manager, I was tasked with building the company’s workforce from the ground up, starting with just one hire to over 66 tech professionals to date.

Approach

My strategy focused on meticulous recruitment processes, where I personally hired an average of 22 people annually, aligning with client demands and business growth objectives. Recognizing the importance of retention, I implemented innovative hiring practices and support systems that increased contractor satisfaction and longevity within the company.

  • Manatal: Leveraged for its robust recruitment and pipeline management features, aiding in efficient profile sourcing and placement.
  • Microsoft Excel: Customized complex spreadsheets facilitated streamlined financial management, drastically reducing the time required for monthly payroll processes from days to minutes.
  • Microsoft Teams: Served as the primary communication tool, ensuring seamless internal collaboration and coordination.
  • Obsidian: This knowledge management tool was pivotal in automating nearly 95% of routine tasks, significantly enhancing personal productivity and allowing me to manage the growing demands of a dynamic recruitment environment.
